Located east of Chilliwack, Bridal Veil Falls Park is a scenic day-use area. The landscape encompassing the park is characterized by low elevation valleys and lush, rounded mountains. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and viewing the spectacular Bridal Veil Falls, which tumbles 60 metres over a smooth rock face, creating a veil-like effect. The park is on the south side of the Fraser River, 16km east of Chilliwack. Take exit 135 off Highway 1 and follow the signs. The nearest communities are Bridal Falls and Chilliwack.
Situated in Electoral Area F northeast of Mission, this 22-hectare park is home to the captivating Cascade Falls. Visitors can access the falls via a brief 1 km trail that includes stairs leading to a viewing platform and a suspension bridge. The park also offers a picnic shelter on a first-come, first-served basis. Other highlights include a 30-meter waterfall, a suspension bridge over Cascade Creek, viewing platforms on either side of the bridge, a scenic 1 km trail through a coniferous forest with stairs, and a small series of waterfalls cascading 18 meters into serene lower pools.
