FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tylene Swanson and Corey Hilderman
If you need any clarification or have questions before the big day, please reach out to Tylene (the bride) or her Maid of Honor, Skye Syverson. On the day of the wedding, all questions and concerns can be directed to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Paige.
Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless otherwise stated on your invitation, the answer is no. While this decision was not made lightly, we have opted to limit our guest list to only our closest friends and family due to the size constraints of our wedding.

Question

How far is the Venue from The Airport?

Answer

Sandpiper is located approximately 45 minutes from the Abbotsford International Airport on Highway 7.

Question

Is it permissible to bring children to the wedding?

Answer

This will be an adult-only wedding. We are unable to accommodate children beyond those explicitly named on the invitation. No exceptions will be made to any part, including the dance.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding will be a black-tie event. We kindly ask that all guests wear formal black attire. The ceremony will take place on grass, so please choose footwear accordingly.

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

No, transportation to and from the wedding venue will not be provided. As there are accommodations available onsite, we have decided not to offer transportation services. For guests staying offsite, we suggest utilizing Uber or Cheam Taxi Ltd for transportation needs.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and venue with exact guest count by a certain date. If you do not RSVP by March 31st, 2026 you will be marked down as not attending.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a gift registry. If you would like to give a gift, a monetary contribution toward our mini-moon or honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests shall arrive at 3:30pm and be seated no later than 3:45pm. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm PST and will take place on The Grand Lawn at Sandpiper Resort located at 14282 Morris Valley Rd in Harrison Mills, BC.

Question

Is there a welcome event?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a welcome event exclusively for the guests staying at the resort on both May 21st and May 22nd, 2026 after our rehearsal. Event details will be shared directly with invited guests in the coming weeks. An RSVP will be required by April 30th, 2026 for those staying on the resort ONLY. As with all wedding events, this will be an adults-only gathering. No exceptions.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

No, drinks will be available for purchase. Please note that only card payments are accepted (no cash).
