Museum of the Bible is a family friendly, beautiful and neat place that offers an abundance of attractions, interactive exhibits, and fascinating artifacts, finding ways to show how the Bible impacts our lives. Micah and I highly recommend!
A family friendly place with lots of animals to see! Maybe you'll even catch the pandas! And if you didn't already know, all Smithsonian museums of DC are free admission! May be good to check online if certain Smithsonian museums require reservations for tickets however.
A fan favorite overall with lots to see, including dinosaur fossils and the Hope diamond. This is one of our favorites.
Twyla has been wanting to go here for years, went recently, and loved it! This is NOT a Smithsonian museum, but is totally worth it if the spy life is fascinating to you!
A cute, vibrant waterfront destination located along the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. It is a dynamic mix of dining, entertainment, shopping, and residential spaces, offering something for everyone.
A place Micah and Twyla frequent close to both their homes in Northern Virginia. A casual date night usually consisted of a dinner, complete with some window shopping and a Target run!
Truthfully we are not big mall people, but this is a large, well-known one to visit if this is a vibe you are looking for with lots of shops and dining options! We did really enjoy dinner at a restaurant here called Seasons 52 once!
Yummy and authentic Vietnamese food. Across the center is also Hong Kong Pearl for a Chinese Restaurant that serves Dim Sum and authentic Chinese dishes-- growing up, this was an area that Twyla's family frequented!
Local coffee with a modern and cozy feel. Micah and Twyla have spent multiple dates at coffee shops like this one, studying, chatting or being productive!
