Come celebrate under the sea with us and thousands of shimmering, finned friends! Located on the harbor in the beautiful Liberty Square of downtown Charleston, the South Carolina Aquarium offers stunning views of the USS Yorktown and Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. There isn't a more Charleston-y location on the peninsula. Arriving at the ceremony is a cinch! There is a large parking deck directly adjacent to Liberty Square. Uber and Lyft are also highly encouraged. As the aquarium is a public venue, open 9am to 5pm 7 days a week, guests are reminded to arrive no earlier than 6:30pm for the ceremony beginning promptly at 7:00pm. This will allow our wedding magicians to perform their magic, transforming the space into a rich and spectacular event, prior to guest arrival. Cocktail hour and reception to immediately follow.

Enjoy roaming about the different exhibits featured in the aquarium including the sea turtle hospital, sting ray touch pool, and multiple habitats local to South Carolina. Make sure to stop for a cone at Scoops! Wheely Good Ice Cream cart on your way to cocktail hour to be held immediately following the ceremony in the upper galleries. A station style reception dinner will follow with all accompanying toasts, jokes, and tipsy folks. Then, IT’S TIME TO PARTY!
