Maid of Honor
Nikki met Sara at Cal Poly Pomona as sorority sisters in Zeta Tau Alpha, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. For over 10 years, Sara has been Nikki’s voice of confidence, adventure buddy, and comedic soulmate (they're the only ones who think they're funny). She’s always down to try anything — from spontaneous tennis clinics to new trendy cocktails and festivals — as long as they get a cute photo to prove it. From the first Hinge message, she’s always been “Team Jason” — she and Jason even have their own separate inside jokes now. Conversation Topics Could Include: Spicy tuna crispy rice, top-tier Salt & Straw flavors, importance of a hotel bathrobe, trending LA restaurants, random fun facts (especially the ones about cows), and "How To" Guide on taking cute photos then never posting them.
Best Man
Jason and AY met at UCLA in 2007 when AY decided to join Delta Sigma Phi’s iconic Fall ’07 Pledge Class and have been close ever since. Even after AY moved out of state, they stayed connected — Jason was a groomsman in AY’s wedding, and their friendship only deepened. In 2023, AY told his wife, “I haven’t seen Meagher in a while, I’m gonna fly to San Diego for his birthday!” — and they hung out six more times that year, proving that where there’s a friendship, there’s a way. Conversation Topics Could Include: His adorable 1-year-old daughter Zoey, UCLA Basketball highs and heartbreaks, Formula 1 race strategy debates, deep dives into his ever-growing LEGO lair, and all things Pokémon — cards, games, and nostalgia.
Bridesman
Growing up, Ryan and Nikki’s sibling dynamic was built on the classic cycle of him teasing her, then her annoying him... repeat. But as they got older, their bond only grew stronger, and Nikki now values Ryan as her friend. Nikki proudly stood by his side as a groomsmaid when he married the love of his life, and he’s been a supportive role model ever since. Especially when it came to Jason, whom he cautiously approved (eventually). Now, the four of them — Ryan, Holland, Jason, and Nikki — make core memories together on every trip! Conversation Topics Could Include: The making of sourdough bread, the number of times he’s pushed Nikki into a body of water, his go-to “smile” for photos, BBQ pizza supremacy, LEGOs, his obsession with Waymos, his fur babies Kio and Gigi, and the constant hunt for a tiki bar.
Groomsman
Jason met Andrew at UCLA when he joined Delta Sigma Phi’s Fall ’08 Pledge Class, but their real friendship began after college. It all started on May 11, 2013, after a day of wine tasting in Temecula — the two bonded on the back porch of an Airbnb, talking about life and everything under the stars. Since then, they’ve shared countless memories, from holiday parties to Stagecoach, and Andrew was the first person Jason told that Nikki was “The One.” Conversation Topics Could Include: His deep love for mowing the lawn (yes, really), admiration for his wife Liz and their three beautiful kids, his random distain for the TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S., backyard brisket-smoking marathons, and cracking open an ice-cold beer from the garage fridge to end the day right.
Bridesman
Holland is Nikki’s brother-in-law, but it’s always been clear since they met at a block party that they were meant to be family - supporting each other through life’s highs and toughest moments. They are a nonstop source of giggles - especially when making gingerbread houses together over the holidays. His beautiful love story — grounded in support and encouragement to his husband — has always inspired Nikki to find the same. From LA Pride parades and Disneyland days, Holland and Nikki's bond grew to be one-of-a-kind. He welcomed Jason like a brother from day one and will always be cheering him on to SLAY. Conversation Topics Could Include: His new college (UC Irvine), how Ariana Grande took over his husband’s Spotify Wrapped, every time Wicked made him cry (again), his beloved fur babies Kio and Gigi, and running marathons so the rest of us don’t have to.
Groomsman
Jason met Ari at UCLA where they were both Fraternity Brothers of Delta Sigma Phi. Ari, like AY, was a member of the Fall ’07 Pledge Class. Jason and Ari became fast friends in the house and decided to be roommates during Jason’s Senior Year at UCLA. The two were full-blown fanatics of the Trop House music craze of 2016 — if a Matoma or Sigala song drops at the wedding, you’ll know exactly where to find them. In recent years, they’ve consistently made time to see each other for wine tasting trips to Ari’s new home of Sonoma, visits to San Diego, and all the Delta Sig weddings in between. Conversation Topics Could Include: Always liking the most expensive wine during tastings, his entrepreneurial spirit creating his own business, how he makes the best Tahdig ever, his beautiful baby girl Roya, his annual summer pool parties in the new backyard pool.
Bridesmaid
Nikki met Jazmin at Cal Poly Pomona through Zeta Tau Alpha, where Jazmin quickly became known for her weekly midday naps at the house. Their friendship only grew stronger post-college, working side by side with vanilla lattes-in-hand at The Resort at Pelican Hill. Jazmin is an expert planner, known for organizing the most creative girls’ trips — from Galentine’s wine tastings to Palm Springs weekends complete with teppanyaki dinners (and shrimp tosses gone rogue). Known for her sass and razor-sharp wit, Jazmin is a loyal friend— and proudly claims credit for sparking the love story by crafting Nikki’s first Hinge message to Jason. Conversation Topics Could Include: Why character mac & cheese reigns supreme, Folklore/Evermore as Taylor Swift’s greatest Eras, family trips to Lake Havasu, aloe fuzzy socks, her fluffy Angel named Rambo, and her well-researched Del Taco and Din Tai Fung order.
Groomsman
Jason and Chris first met at UCLA when Chris joined Delta Sigma Phi’s Fall ’07 Pledge Class, but their friendship truly deepened when Jason moved to San Diego after finishing his MBA. In the wise words of Barney Stinson, they were each other’s go-to wingmen during their single days, with many nights spent in the Gaslamp searching (unsuccessfully) for “the one.” Jason was there from the moment Chris said, “I met this really cool girl at work,” to standing beside him as a groomsman at his wedding to Janelle — the same weekend Jason sent his first Hinge message to Nikki. And yes, Janelle proudly takes full credit for making it all happen. Conversation Topics Could Include: All things Padres and SDFC, stories about his beloved cat Marsh, curating the perfect EDM playlist, his passion for fancy coffee, a die-hard devotion to mimosas, and pitching the name of his future brunch empire.
Bridesmaid
Katelyn was one of Nikki’s first friends after moving to Orange County, welcoming her into her life with open arms. They had countless sleepovers at her mom’s house after girls’ nights out — usually involving line dancing and lots of laughter. She had a good feeling about Jason before Nikki even went on the first date, and watching her love story unfold with her husband (Jared) inspired Nikki to find one of her own. Now, Jared and Jason are bonded for life over their shared love of placing bets — “35 always pays.” Conversation Topics Could Include: Nikki's baby bestie (Jay), witchcraft vs. manifestation, angel numbers, mezcalitas, dive bar date nights, '70s country legends, the healing power of post-party pizza rolls, and bragging rights about drinks on her new patio.
Groomsman
Jason met Scott while back on campus getting his MBA at UCLA Anderson, where Scott was President of Delta Sigma Phi — and they’ve been great friends ever since. From Jason’s Hawaii Three-O birthday trip to football boys' weekends and fantasy draft parties, their bond has only grown stronger despite Scott moving to Minneapolis. Jason and Nikki attended Scott’s 2023 wedding — Nikki’s very first Delta Sig wedding — where they slayed the dance floor to Taylor Swift. Conversation Topics Could Include: UCLA football highs and lows, how he met his gorgeous wife Allison, the epic journey to bring Nikki a rubber duck, fierce Settlers of Catan battles, and that unforgettable bro date with Jason in New Orleans.
Bridesmaid
Liz and Nikki’s friendship really kicked off when they became cruise roommates — a trip where Liz met her now-husband, Paul, and Nikki got a front-row seat to their love story. A true believer in magic — whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love or a magician pulling coins from thin air — Liz brings wonder and excitement to everything she does. Bonding over their mutual obsession with Christmas music year-round with McDonald’s breakfast in hand, their friendship only grew from there. From being each other’s biggest hype-woman, to making sure Jason felt instantly welcomed, Liz has truly been there through it all. Conversation Topics Could Include: Nikki's baby bestie (Jamie), her fur child Bailey, secondhand embarrassment while watching The Bachelor, her joy listening to Shania Twain, and the ultimate Taco Bell order.
Groomsman
Jason met Scott during his MBA at UCLA Anderson, and unknowingly, Scott became part of a pivotal moment in Jason’s life — when Jason defended inviting him to a party by saying, “I know one day these Delta Sigs will be at my wedding.” Thirteen years later, that prediction came true, and Scott has become one of Jason’s closest friends. From spontaneous hangouts between LA and San Diego to being a staple at every Christmas and Draft Party, Scott is always down — though he never knows whether Nikki will surprise him with his favorite Monster Energy drink or a dreaded Smirnoff Ice. Conversation Topics Could Include: Beating Scott M. in Settlers of Catan (his favorite brag), his love for golf despite being hilariously average, the story behind his nickname “Scotty Pants,” his go-to Taco Bell order, and fixing up cars with his dad.
Champagne Boy
Jason met Jake through Delta Sigma Phi at UCLA when Jason was back on campus getting his MBA. They first met when Jason returned for an alumni event at the Fraternity house, and the pair quickly bonded over their love of the song “Jack Sparrow” by Lonely Island — sparking many karaoke sessions since. Though they only saw each other once or twice a year for a while, their friendship reignited when Jake and his wife Jess moved to San Diego, becoming staples at every Nikki and Jason event. Known for his solo dance moves (much to Jess’s amusement), Jake was an easy choice for our Champagne Boys duo. Conversation Topics Could Include: His fur baby girl, Tuna, stories from his year-long work abroad program, UCLA football and basketball, how he first met his wife Jess on a dancefloor, and his "favorite" (and definitely loudest) brunch spot in Scottsdale.
Champagne Boy
Jason met Nick on their first day of college at UCLA after they both moved into Dykstra Hall. Jason and Nick decided to join Delta Sigma Phi as part of the Spring ’06 pledge class, and to this day they both say it was the best decision they’ve ever made. These two have been through everything together – from being recognized as the guys who always showed up to Math 32B late every class during Freshman Year, to attending nearly every Delta Sig wedding together. Whenever they get together, at least an hour needs to be set aside just to reminisce about all the life events they’ve been through together – both big and small. With his legendary dance floor energy and love for a good celebration, Nick was a natural choice for our Champagne Boys duo. Conversation Topics Could Include: Rock climbing, stories from all his world travels, Formula 1, growing up on a steady soundtrack of Tim McGraw, his bold first choice of swimwear, and the absolute chaos of being a risk manager for a college fraternity.
