Rehearsal: The Night Before

Attire: Dressy casual. If you’re feeling festive—wear any shade of blue to tie in with our coastal theme! Ladies are encouraged to wear short or mid-length dresses, while gentlemen should opt for a button down shirt and jeans. For any non-binary or gender nonconforming guests, we welcome you to wear whatever dressy casual attire feels most comfortable and true to you.
For our wedding party and close family and friends invited, please join us for the wedding rehearsal followed by dinner. It’s a special evening for us to gather, run through the big day, and spend time together before all the celebrations begin.

Wedding Ceremony

Attire: Formal. Ladies are encouraged to wear elegant mid-length or long dresses, while gentlemen should opt for a suit and tie. For any non-binary or gender nonconforming guests, we welcome you to wear whatever formal attire feels most comfortable and true to you.
Join us as we say “I do” on the beautiful Marea Lawn at VEA Newport Beach! Our ceremony will begin at 4:15 PM. Guests are kindly requested to arrive around 4:00 PM to allow time for seating. For those driving in, guests will receive discounted Valet Event Parking at VEA Newport Beach for $25 per vehicle. This rate applies to non-overnight valet only. Just let the valet know you’re attending the Turner/Meagher wedding to receive the discounted rate. The ceremony will take place outdoors, overlooking the coast. The Marea Lawn is located one floor down the lobby stairs (or one floor down on the elevator) on the right-hand side of the pool area. Please follow the signs or hotel staff can point you in the right direction. After the ceremony, we’ll head up the nearby stairs for the reception—so ladies, we recommend choosing footwear that’s lawn- and stair-friendly.
Cocktail Hour & Reception

Following the ceremony, head up one quick flight of stairs to the Marea Terrace for cocktail hour—complete with coastal views and what we hope will be a dreamy sunset. There is also an elevator on the left hand side of the stairs for those that need it. After mingling and sipping, we’ll move inside to the Marea Ballroom for dinner, dancing, and a night full of celebration. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know while you RSVP. Get ready to raise a glass and help us celebrate the new Meaghers!

Wedding Recovery Pool Party

Keep the celebration going with us the day after the wedding at our Recovery Pool Party! We’ve reserved several cabanas at VEA’s pool for a laid-back day of sunshine, food, and catching up from the night before. Come swim, lounge, or just hang out—swimsuits or resort wear are perfect for the vibe. The full Edge Bar menu will be available to order at the pool. If you're not staying at the hotel, please let us know on the RSVP event link so we can save you a pool pass. And don’t forget to note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP on our website as well. We can’t wait to soak up one last day with you all!
