Hike Smith Rock
Smith Rock State Park, Terrebonne, OR
It's one of Oregons 7 Wonders and insta-famous. If you haven't made it out here yet it is one to check off the bucketlist.
Hike something close that's NOT Smith Rock
Gray Butte - This spot towers over the red rocks of Smith Rock State Park and gives a great vista on top Good way to escape the crowds. I recommend accessing it from the McCoin Homestead area. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/ochoco/recreation/recarea/?recid=39140 Cline Butte - Kelly trail ran this often when he lived in Eagle Crest. Quick trail for those staying at the resort. Black Butte - Thigh burner with a great view for the payoff. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/oregon/black-butte-trail
