FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP here on our website by June 5th, 2026.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire. Wear something you feel cute in! (That includes you, Dad!)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but we cannot host any children at our wedding. Only guests specifically named on the invitation are invited.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The name of every guest is clearly listed on your invitation, and plus-ones are clearly indicated where applicable. Unfortunately, no additional guests can be accommodated. Thank you for understanding.

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

If you're traveling in for the day, we recommend driving or taking a train. Free street parking is available one block east of the venue. The closest train stops are the CTA Purple Line Dempster stop or the UP-N Metra Davis stop. If you're staying in one of our hotel blocks, the venue is walking distance: Hyatt House is a 8-minute walk, The Graduate is a 10-minute walk, and the Hilton Garden Inn is a 20-minute walk. Uber and Lyft are also readily available in Evanston.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place inside the music venue, and dinner will be outside on the patio under a tent. You are free to move about the cabin after that!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please indicate any dietary requests and allergies in your RSVP response.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Crate and Barrel, and you can view those items here on our website under the "Registry" tab. There, you can also see a few cash funds we are building toward exciting purchases as newlyweds!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If you're getting in the night before, join the wedding party at the Evanston Hyatt House lobby bar for a welcome hang! The bride and groom would love to see you and catch up before the busy day.
