**Big shoutout to our Maid of Honor, Violet, and Groomsman, Luckey for seeing potential in this derpy, but always loving pair.** It all started after college when we were set up by these two lovebirds after THREE YEARS of attempting to get us to meet. Trust us -- it was A LOT of attempts and sending random, NSFW (not safe for weddings) type photos. During those three years, both Stephanie and Tristan were not in the right space to date anyone. However, the stars aligned after college when it happened to be Stephanie's 22nd birthday and Violet and Luckey were extremely adamant about taking her out to Fogo de Chao for a "birthday dinner". After getting asked multiple times what she was wearing and if she'll be ready to go on time, Stephanie greatly suspected something was up and squeezed the info out of Violet three days before the dinner...this was a setup blind date with a boy named Tristan. After discovering this info, she agreed to go, but under one stipulation -- "only if he's paying". On the opposite end, Luckey had told Tristan that he wanted to go out on a "bro date" to Santana Row because it had been awhile since they caught up. He told Tristan to dress up and naturally they both decided on suits. Fast forward to the day of the dinner: - Stephanie did NOT have a good week and almost pulled out of going. But she pulled it together for a free meal, brushed her three day unwashed hair, and put on a semi-put together outfit. - Tristan had a wonderful time catching up with Luckey until five minutes before Stephanie and Violet showed up, Luckey told him he was hiding something important...this wasn't a bro date, it was a setup. DUN DUN DUNNN. Once the two ladies showed up, Stephanie and Tristan had an incredibly awkward first encounter due to one strange side hug and a very loud "OH MY GOD, HI" leading to Stephanie asking Violet "is there something wrong with him". Although the first few minutes were a little bumpy, they ended up hitting it off and had a wonderful dinner and night out after at Rosie McCann's. At the end of the evening, Stephanie was waiting for Tristan to ask for her number, but being the polite gentleman he is, he didn't want to overstep. So naturally, being the forward person she is, Stephanie decided to ask "are you going to ask for my number?". And the rest was history!
