A lovely progressive, woman-owned, queer-friendly bookstore with plenty of titles to choose from, as well as fun t-shirts, mugs made by local artists, and unique collectibles. The shop is 100% solar-powered!
A bit of a drive, but a really cool place to visit. It feels like you're visiting an outpost on another planet. It's living, breathing scientific research! Visit the distinct ocean, mangrove, coastal desert, rain forest, and savanna biomes.
My favorite secondhand bookstore with lots more than just books! Musical instruments, DVDs and CDs, kitchenware, jewelry, comic books, card and board games, art by local artists, and even sewing machines! You're virtually guaranteed to find some kind of treasure each visit.
This one is a little smaller than the east location, but it still has plenty of variety!
The smallest of the three Bookmans in town, but it still has a great variety of treasures and trinkets (and books of course).
This is a fun little place to get bulk spices and teas, fair-trade chocolate, organic and heirloom veggies, and a good variety of tasty cheeses.
If you love cooking Asian food but have a hard time finding some of the ingredients, this is the place to go! They have entire aisles dedicated to different countries, and if you need spices in bulk, you will find them here. The produce is good quality, and the seafood and meat sections are large and well-stocked.
Occasionally I go bowling with my friends here; this bowling alley is pretty big and has decent food.
This is our favorite movie theater because the food is amazing, the service is great, and the seats are very comfy (and recline quite a bit).
A great place to check out native Arizona flora--cacti, succulents, aloes, flowers, seasonal plants, herbs--as well as some tropical plants. The butterfly garden is also not to be missed!
