Sideways Inn

This hotel is where we will be having our post-wedding party, and we have reserved a block of rooms for a rate of $160/night (a steal!). To book, call the Group Sales office at 805-691-8086 and reference the Mitchell-Adams Wedding. Buellton has a bit more to offer in town as far as restaurants than Lompoc does. If staying in Buellton, you are about 10 to 20 minutes from multiple great wine areas. The Santa Rita Hills, known for Pinot Noir, are down Santa Rosa Road in Buellton. The older, larger Santa Barbara County Estates and showcase tasting rooms that produce mainly Rhone varietals are located along Foxen Canyon Rd. (a 10 minute drive from Buellton).

For those of you who dig Marriott rewards, there is one in Buellton, right next to Firestone Walker Brewery. This Marriott is a ten minute walk (4 min drive) from the Sideways Inn where we will be having our after-party.

O'Cairns Inn & Suites

Lompoc is a slightly more economical option with easy access to wineries, sites, and restaurants in the northern part of the County. The wedding venue is located between Lompoc and Buellton, with Lompoc about 20 minutes north of the wedding site. For those interested in tasting wine while in the area, Lompoc has a small industrial area known as the "Lompoc Wine Ghetto," where many small producers are making great wine in tiny warehouses. Lompoc is also close to Los Alamos & Los Olivos, two quaint towns whose main streets are plentifully dotted with tasting rooms and some of the area's best restaurants.

Airbnb, VRBO, Bed & Breakfasts

Airbnb, VRBO, and B&Bs are plentiful in Buellton, Lompoc, Los Olivos, Solvang, Ballard, and Santa Ynez. Buellton and Lompoc are closest to the wedding site, with Buellton being a central location for the rest of the Santa Ynez Valley.

Los Angeles Airport

The most economical flights will be into LAX, where you can rent a car and drive 90 miles up the coast to Santa Barbara. From there, it's about a 50-60 minute drive to Buellton/Lompoc where the wedding events will be.

A small airport, but only 45 minutes from the wedding location, and 10 minutes to Santa Barbara.

We are looking into having a shuttle/bus transport guests from the wedding site back to the Sideways Inn (a central location) or a Lompoc hotel after the wedding. We will keep you updated.
