What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the venue by 4:00pm. Joliet is a 45 min. drive from Chicago. Please Plan your drive accordingly so that you will make it on time for the ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking on the premises- Please park in the parking lot adjacent to the Mansion or in the lot directly across the street.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking all guest to come in their best formal attire.

I have dietary restrictions, what should I do?

Answer

Let us know! We are managing allergies & dietary restrictions and our chef is making a menu that can accommodate everyone.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest and we are keeping the guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest unless specified on your invitation . If you have any questions about plus 1s, reach out to us.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No thank- you! Everyone knows, Aunty Tikiya & Uncle Rey love the kids, however this is an adults only ceremony! Parents- please take this time to enjoy a much needed night off. If you are traveling from out of town with your kids in tow and are in need of a babysitter service for the evening, reach out to us let us know so that we can help make arrangements.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We recently combined 2 households so we mostly have everything we need at home. But We are registered at Amazon for items we still need/want . You can check out our registry on the "REGISTRY" tab

I do not see anything on the registry I would want to buy, Can I give Cash?

Answer

Of course! Cash is still king! We have a honeymoon fund or gift cards on our registry, if you would like to give that way. If you bring money to the wedding you can participate in the Traditional Money Dance and shower us with cash that way.

What is a "Money Dance"?

Answer

Tikiya and Rey have quite a few African friends from various countries and to include traditions we are doing a money dance . The Money dance is a tradition loved by many cultures- Money spraying symbolizes a showering of happiness, good fortune, and a display of the guest's affection for the couple. If you would like to participate in this portion of the reception just bring some dollar bills and join in the fun!

Do you have Zelle or Cash app.

Answer

Yes we do! For Zelle, you can use either Rey or Tikiya's phone number. For Cash app our handle is $TReyday2k22
