HER VERSION: When a friend suggested to start online dating on a site that required the woman to send the 1st msg, I was kind of skeptical and shy but figured , what's the worst that could happen? When I first saw Rey's picture I thought "he's cute but he looks familiar", after a quick facebook friend's list search showed nothing, I figured it might not be him but swipped right and sent him a message just to be sure. Turns out I did know him: we were in the same 4th and 5th grade class! HIS VERSION: My brother had me set up this online dating profile. I came across Tikiya's page and recognized her right away. So I swiped right just off the strength of me knowing her and she had adventurous pictures on her page. Not long after she sent me a message inquiring if she knew me (the bait). And like a fish in the sea I took the bait saying "of course you do". She hooked me and the rest is history.

On a trip to the Bahamas with friends, we spent the day on boat ride to a private island called Rose island. After a while of hanging out, listening to music, playing pool and having lunch. We all headed to the water to get in. "Let's take a picture!" someone yelled. I ran & jumped in the picture then someone in the group yelled, "let's get the photographer by herself!" I posed for the camera while everyone was cheering me on. "get a different angle"someone yelled, "turn & look at the boat', as I turned around one of our favorite songs began to play on the loud speaker at the restaurant behind us, and there was Rey, on one knee! I was so surprised it took a few seconds to register what was actually happening. I fell to my knees in complete shock!
