Maid of Honor
Juli is more than a best friend; she is the sister I always wished for. She's a rare kind of brilliant - the kind that challenges you, inspires you, and changes you. She's thoughtful in a way most people don't understand because everyone else takes 3 minutes to do the NYT mini crossword, while she's finished it in under 30 seconds. If you invite me to anything ever, I am more than likely to ask if she can come too. It is an absolute honor to have found someone like Juli, and I am beyond grateful that I did, because my life has changed for the better because of her.
Best Man
One of my closest friends from back when neither of us had the courage to speak to our now wives (well, my future wife). Isaac has the ability to captivate an audience like no one's business. He can craft elaborate fables of our childhood, with some facts sprinkled in, that make the memory feel like you've just experienced it. Isaac's kindness and loyalty to his friends know no bounds; it is one of my great joys to experience his friendship.
Bridesmaid
Time spent with Amanda is never enough and always too short. Her energy, enthusiasm, authenticity, and beauty are just a few of the things I admire. But most of all, nobody makes me laugh as she does. Amanda is the Tweedledum to my Tweedledee, my twin flame, and one of the best people I've ever had the privilege of knowing.
Groomsman
Matt is truly a long-lost older brother. He’s the first person to think of what everyone else needs and the last person who needs to be told to help out. Matt’s cooking has fed us all from the mountains to the sea. He’s also an honest friend, always ready to listen and dig into what’s going on. Thank you to him and his sidekick, Pyro, for keeping us all safe.
Bridesmaid
When I had met Tyler, it was like I had already known her forever. She's brilliantly articulate, a master planner, and has made me love cats (shout out Noodle). Tyler has become a steady, beautiful part of my everyday life, and being her friend is one of the easiest things I have ever done. Having her by my side for this next chapter feels exactly right - like she was always meant to be there.
Groomsman
A true ride-or-die friend, and honestly, how many of those really come along? Will exemplifies this phrase. From the golf course to a fancy night out at the last minute, Will is there for it. His inclusive kindness to those in his life is admirable. From late-night garage kicks to budgeting for a future, Will is there for both the fun and the work.
Bridesmaid
Myka is my whimsy. She constantly reminds me that growing up doesn’t mean growing old. When we’re together, I feel like a kid again because we instantly become the biggest dorks around. She’s hilarious, kind, and fiercely determined. I’m so happy to have her by my side during this adventure. She’s stood beside me for so many chapters already, and it wouldn’t feel right stepping into this one without her.
Groomsman
Since Lexi first brought me home to meet her family, Parker has welcomed me in with open arms and a beer always at the ready. He's a genuine comic to listen to and talented in his work and hobbies. Parker has a knack for music, and I love the way he and Lexi will make up a song for something silly their Mom or dog has done.
Bridesmaid
If there is one word to describe Sarah, it's effortless. She is effortlessly kind, generous, thoughtful, and beautiful. She is always thinking about someone else and making sure they feel included and taken care of, probably by making them the best soup they've ever had with three ingredients. I feel so lucky to call Sarah a friend and even luckier to have her standing beside me on such a meaningful day.
Groomsman
Even if he’s taller than I am now, he’ll always be my little brother. Tommy’s passion and enthusiasm for his interests are admirable, so much so that he’s a walking encyclopedia on anything that captures his attention. I will always be thankful to have a brother and best friend to share so many adventures with.
Bridesmaid
Sydney is an absolute powerhouse of a human being, with one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known. As Trevor’s younger sister, she constantly reminds everyone around her to meet the world with compassion, warmth, and curiosity. She’s thoughtful, charming, courageous. And, delightfully, one of the biggest goofballs you’ll ever meet. If there’s one person I could brag about all day, it’s her. Watching her grow into the brilliant, kind, and vibrant woman she is today has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Just as I am now honored to now call her a sister.
Officiant
Connor and Trevor met in high school and have been friends ever since, spending time together through many hobby changes, most of which were enthusiastically encouraged by Connor, who is usually the first person to drop said hobby. They have bonded through literally anything that can be described as being boy. Skip a few years, and Connor meets Lexi, an unlikely enemy yet a willing foe. The two never miss a chance to make fun of one another, until their friend Paul came into the picture. Now united, they stand as heroes, friends, and usually the ringleaders of any planned event or outing. All joking aside, Connor has become the couple’s confidant in ways neither could have expected. He is truly thoughtful and considerate of everyone, and we are beyond honored that he will be marrying us.
Our Something Blue
To honor tradition, we wanted someone special to be our "something blue". Sara has been part of our lives for many years, and her relationship to Parker means so much to Lexi. Aside from having impeccable taste, baking bread like a pro, and even introducing Lexi to the joys (and drama!) of reality TV, Sara has always been thoughtful and encouraging towards the couple. We're so happy to have her play this unique role in our wedding day.
