Restaurant- Waterman's Surfside Grille

One of our favorite seafood restaurants right on the water with great views. Order the Guinness Burger or Salmon.

Restaurant- The Porch on Long Creek

Beautiful water views on the bay side, you may see some boat traffic depending on the weather. We love the sushi there- The Porch Roll or The California Roll.

Restaurant- Gringo's Taqueria

A hole in the wall GEM! Our favorite taco spot, we like the shrimp tacos and the fish tacos. If you go make sure to see Larry for some really good drinks. We like the Porch Swing and the Skinny Ginny.

Restaurant- Bay Local Eatery

Amazing local brunch spot that is notorious for their Parmesan Tots and Fishbowl Mimosas.

Restaurant- Orion's Roof

Amazing rooftop bar with great views of the ocean front. You will need to make reservations online ahead of your visit. Because it is off season they may be able to take walk-ins if you go early or later around the dinner rush. We would recommend early for sunset. We like their sushi.

Restaurant- TASTE unlimited

There are so many located around VB but this sandwich spot is a VB staple. They deliver to the beach at the oceanfront and they are delicious. We like the hilltop and the northender!

Bar- Chick's Oyster Bar

Another shore drive or “bay” staple! Bar food but great shrimp tacos and sweet potato fries. We love to go here for a night out, it’s a rowdy fun locals only spot!

Bar- The Shack

This is a great local spot to grab some drinks and play some yard games. It’s a VB staple, make sure you try an orange crush!

Activity- Bourbon Room Tasting at Tarnished Truth Distilling Co.

This is a really cool local distillery where you can do a tour and tasting, you will want to book this in advance of your visit but it is really affordable. You can then eat or catch a drink at the Hunt Room. We love canned coastal cocktails from this distillery here as well.

Activity- Waterman Spirits Cocktail Class

This is a fun cocktail making class in a distillery room where we had our engagement party. You can learn to make craft cocktails, you will need to book this in advance of your visit.
