When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than Saturday, September 30, 2025, by clicking the RSVP tab in the above webpage menu. We are required to provide our vendors with exact numbers by a certain date, so we will not be able to accommodate anyone who RSVPs late or fails to RSVP. Those who do not RSVP by 9/30/2025 will be marked as "Not Attending" and will be greatly missed!

What should I do if I can no longer make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot attend, please RSVP "will NOT attend." If you have already RSVP'd as attending but find that you will no longer be able to make it, please update your RSVP online and text Kayla at 757-755-5368 as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

What should I wear for black tie optional?

Answer

For men, please wear either a tuxedo or suit and tie. For women, please wear a evening gown, floor-length dress, or tea-length dress. Please reserve the color white, ivory and blue for the bride and something blue crew. Absolutely no denim, jeans, or shorts.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults only event. While we love your little ones, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your children at home so you can celebrate with us, kid-free!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have addressed invitations to the people whom we would love to see on our big day. If you received a plus one, your invitation will list your guest's name or "and guest." Additionally, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. If you have a plus one listed on your invitation, please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself & your guest. Due to space restrictions we will only be able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Answer

Kayla is so blessed and grateful to have so many supportive and loving women in her life, she wants to honor all of her girlfriends while still keeping the bridal party small. These women will be wearing the color blue, please reserve this color for them.

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be onsite complementary valet, but we suggest ubering if you plan on enjoying the open bar.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be on grass, our cocktail hour will be on turf and a patio, the reception will be tented on turf. Heaters will be on inside of the tent as needed.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average temperature in Virginia Beach in November for a typical day ranges from a high of 70°F to a low of 50°F.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

In order to ensure that we are all present in the moment, we are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn your phones off and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our special moment. During the cocktail hour and reception, however, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!
