Brother of the groom - Lance is the kind of person who prides himself on being there for his family and friends. He has the unique ability to be honest and forthright while at the same time being the funniest person in the room. He is a lifelong man of mystery who's as clever as the devil and twice as handsome.

Brother of the bride - Though originally mistaken to be Katy's twin, Jesse is in fact older than Katy. Jesse has been one of Katy's biggest supporters, even flying out to surprise her at one of her final collegiate cross country races. Jesse’s quick wittedness is second to none, and his heart of gold and sentimental nature are true East traits.
Jena Wynn

Sister of the groom - Jena is one of the kindest, most compassionate people you'll ever meet. She and Trevor have always had a great relationship as they both swam together on the same swim team for the majority of their childhood. They also lifeguarded together and shared many Ludacris jam sessions in her Volkswagen Beetle.

Sister-in-law of the bride - Lexy is the most recent addition to the East family, finally giving Katy a sister! Their relationship really took off while Katy (and eventually Trevor) lived with Jesse and Lexy while their house was being built. Lexy is the kind of person you can talk to about anything, especially if it has to do with sustainability! Katy is fortunate to also call Lexy one of her best friends.

Brother-in-law of the groom - Jake has a vast wealth of knowledge. He would most definitely be the first round draft pick to anyone looking to win a trivia night or a cooking competition (although Katy's dad Greg is also in the running). Jake is both a great husband to Trevor's sister and a great friend to our family.

Long time friend and running buddy of the bride - Katy and Ashley first met over the summer when they went for a run together before the cross country season started at UNC. Their friendship flourished over the many, many miles that lay ahead of them. Ashley's steadfast commitment to her people makes her the ideal friend, partner, and mother.

Long time friend and first college roommate of the groom - Trevor and Tino initially bonded over their love of baseball at Otero Junior College. Tino is the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, or casually insert himself into your unclaimed college dorm room, leading to a lifelong friendship.
Cortnee Phipps

Fellow teacher and long time friend of the bride - Cortnee is the kind of person whose unconditional love and support can get you through anything. She and Katy survived 12 credit hours together one semester at UNC in the teaching program, a spider fiasco that forced them to move out of their apartment, and much, much more. Cortnee and her husband, Caleb, are joyfully expecting a new addition to their family this May!

Long time friend and college roommate of the groom - Alex is a craft beer aficionado and just about the most easy going guy you will ever meet. Trevor first met Alex on paper when applying for a roommate at UNCO. Alex had stated that he simply wanted a roommate who "wouldn't eat all of his food". Trevor felt like he could comply with these stringent requirements. Little did he know that he would meet one of his best friends in doing so.

Fellow teacher and longtime friend of the bride - Taylor is the life of the party! She and Katy really bonded at UNC over a tough science class that led to sadly dropping cake on the ground during a finals study session. The consequential tears and laughter that followed will never be forgotten! Taylor is loyal, genuine, and always bubbly. Look to her for a good laugh, the best hugs, and the kindest heart.
Johnny Baisley

Fellow mathlete & fitness enthusiast - Johnny molds young minds both in the gym and the classroom. He and Trevor first met at UNCO, where they bonded over math puzzles and pumping iron. They have since endured many hours of grueling studying, painstaking workouts, and adventures alike. It is rumored that Katy and Ashley made fun of them during one of these painstaking workouts while doing lunges on the indoor track at UNCO.
