You can drive over Deception Pass (the longer, scenic route) to get to Whidbey Island from the mainland. It is Washington's most visited state park for a reason- take advantage of the miles of hiking trails, walk the beach, explore the tidepools, and admire the beautiful views of the picturesque bridge, cliffs and shoreline.
Admire the lighthouse and views of mountains and coastline, try out the campground, or explore the historical military fort with bunkers and giant mounted guns. Fort Casey is part of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve.
