Where are you getting married?

We will be getting married at the Villa Tolomei in Florence, Italy.

Question

Will we get to hang out with you before/after the wedding?

Answer

The short answer is yes! We will be posting things that we (Lisa, Travis, George, Henry) plan to do each day and you can join us for any or all of it! But ultimately we want this to be an amazing trip for you and we encourage you to visit and try everything you want while you are in Italy (and elsewhere). We will absolutely see you the day of the wedding and we are planning a wine tasting the day before. Please RSVP to each as soon as you can.

When is the best time to book flights? They look expensive!

Answer

Right now (posted 2/9/24) is actually a good time to buy. Prices have come down a bit from where they were the last few months. We encourage everyone to make the most of the trip, visiting additional cities and points of interest before and after the big day. There are many websites that can help you book your perfect trip, so feel free to get creative with it! If you need help, please call us and we would be happy to help get you a flight booked!

What do I need to travel internationally?

Answer

You will need a valid (not expired) passport. If you have not updated or applied for your passport, do it now! Sometimes it can take a while to get it back so please do not leave this until the last minute.

Will there be a room block?

Answer

Yes, we will have a limited room block with discounted rates for the night of the wedding. More information on rates and booking instructions are in the TRAVEL section of this website.

Should we bring a gift?

Answer

Please NO! LOL We will have enough to travel with already. So while we would wholeheartedly appreciate the gesture, please do not bring anything for us to travel back with. We will put a registry together soon for those who wish to give a gift, but having you there for our special day is already amazing.
