Fantastic spot on the southeast side of town that was featured in Diners, Drive-In's & Dives on The Food Network. It has a retail and grocery store, bakery, brewery, butcher counter, restaurant, bar and 2 outdoor patios.
Dahlia Kitchen + Bar
Dahlia is a colorful, contemporary Mexican restaurant and bar located in the Canopy Hotel (where we have a block of rooms) downtown Sioux Falls. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Their margaritas are the best in town in our opinion.
CH Patisserie
Locally owned French inspired bakery. Chef Chris Hanmer was on Top Chef: Just Deserts and was a semifinalist for the prestigious James Beard Award in 2025. Believe me, you want to stop in here.
The Orion Pub
We took our engagement photos here! Cute little "hole in the wall" bar that is more casual than most of the bars in downtown. Bonus points if you can get the bartender to pull out the little derby horse race game from behind the bar and gamble some drinks on who wins.

Stogeez Cigar Lounge
This is one of our favorite places to meet up with friends when we are in Sioux Falls. Live music on their amazing outdoor patio (usually starts at 7pm), full bar and a fantastic selection of cigars if that's something you are into

Fall's Park is a must for out of towners - you have to see the namesake of the city!
Elmwood Golf Course
Bring your clubs with and play some golf while waiting to celebrate! Chelsey may not be much of a golfer, but Travis sure is. We may be biased, but this is the best course in South Dakota. Chelsey's brother is the head Golf Pro here and many birthday parties, showers, and other life events have been celebrated at Elmwood. Chelsey's brother and sister-in-law got married here on the Fairway of hole 18
