Our story technically started back in the summer of 2010 - though at the time, we were just two people constantly showing up at the same college parties, sharing the same group of friends, and somehow never quite meeting. Fast forward to 2019: Chelsey was visiting a friend in Mitchell, SD when she walked upstairs and found Travis in the kitchen, casually offering her a shot (very on-brand). That moment turned into a conversation, which turned into something neither of us could explain, but definitely felt right. Chelsey 'moved' to Mitchell, SD to be with Travis during the pandemic, splitting time between South Dakota and her new home in Minneapolis. In 2021, Travis made the bold and romantic move to Minnesota so they could finally be together full time. Some might say it was fate. We like to think of it as the invisible string theory. The idea that two people who are meant to be are connected by an unseen thread, no matter the time or distance… or number of parties they miss each other at. It just took us a decade, some questionable college (and post-grad) decisions, and a well-timed shot to finally follow that string - and now, here we are, tying the knot. Pun very much intended.
