The views from this bridge are phenomenal! Highly recommended to check it out at sunset as well. Warning: not for those who are afraid of heights!
Stroll the streets of historic downtown Taos and the Plaza. There are so many awesome art shops, galleries, and jewelry stores. Great area to find a souvenir from your visit to Taos!
The pueblos are one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the United States. This has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ellen and Traci went here when they did a camping road trip (their first traveling they did together). HIGHLY recommend trying the fry bread here!
If you have a car and want some luxurious relaxation -- this is the place! It is about a 50 minute drive from Taos, but so worth it. Ellen and Traci went here with some friends after a Taos ski trip. They had so much fun lathering themselves in mud, letting it cake in the sun, and rinsing it off. Many laughs were had over the "no talking" areas (quiet isn't our strong suit).
There are two locations for this -- one downtown and "the Mothership" location right next to the wedding venue. Great place to relax and sip some craft brews.
There are many hiking, biking, and running trails around the area for those who want to get out and be active!
Feeling adventurous? Try out river rafting. There are an abundance of companies in the area offering half-day, full-day, and multi-day rafting trips on the Rio Grande and other rivers in the area. Please share your pictures with Traci and Ellen if you do this!
