FAQsFAQs

Question

Are children invited?Are children invited?

Answer

While we love kids (Traci is in education after all), this is going to be an 18+ wedding. The only exception will be for the brides' nieces and nephews. We hope all of our guests, including parents, get an evening of relaxation and fun in an adult setting. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to attend our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

How do I RSVP?How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP directly on this website! Please make sure to do so by July 13th, 2025. If you need any assistance, please reach out to Ellen or Traci.

Question

What if I can't make it?What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be sadly missed! However, we know that coordinating travel is not easy. We completely understand if you are unable to attend, so please know that we won't be offended. We'd appreciate you letting us know this as soon as possible. You can send us a simple text message or email (or RSVP "no" when that section is available) -- this helps us greatly with accommodations, seating and catering arrangements.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding? What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Neither of us are the most fancy of people, so this question is hard for us to answer! We want you to feel "dressed-up, yet comfortable" -- whatever that means to you! This is the desert, where weather can change quite quickly. While September typically isn't a super rainy month, if it does rain it can create a muddy ground. Please keep this in mind when planning your attire (shoes especially) as this will be outdoors. You may also want to bring layers as it cools off in the evening.

Question

How do I get to Taos? How do I get to Taos?

Answer

There are more details about this under the "travel" section. Taos does not have a large airport, so out of town guests who are flying can choose between Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or Denver. There are some airport shuttle services available (they aren't the cheapest) or you can rent a car. Traci and Ellen are happy to try to help you coordinate people to rent car(s) with -- just send them a text!

Question

What are the accommodations? What are the accommodations?

Answer

There are some wonderful hotel options under the "Travel" section. Taos is a small town and September is one of their busiest months, so if you plan on coming for the wedding weekend we suggest booking something ASAP just to be safe! In addition, there are tons of Airbnbs in the area (we have stayed at some during ski trips and have loved them)!

Question

How do I get to the venue? How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The wedding and reception will all take place at Hotel Luna Mystica, which is about 15 minutes from the main area of town. We will have a shuttle service picking up from the Hotel Don Fernando and Taos Plaza to get your to the ceremony. The shuttle will drop back off at those two locations at 9 PM and 11:15 PM. Taos DOES NOT have reliable Ubers/Lyfts -- so please plan to use the shuttle or plan for a sober driver. There is plenty of parking available at Hotel Luna Mystica if you choose to drive.
