Fajita-Tiki Bluegrass Paartaay!!!

We and our gracious hosts, Independent Whitewater, welcome you to a fajita-tiki pre-party at their Riverside Bar and Grill!! Exclusive invite rehearsal dinner? Heck no, you're all invited!! Plus, spoiler alert, we are also so pumped to welcome Telluride Bluegrass Battle of the Bands winner WoodBelly!!!! They will be kicking out some killer bluegrass while we're kicking up some dust from 6:00 - 9:00 pm!!! No need to bring anything except your party pants and dancin shoes, we'll have all the fajitas and drinks your precious little heart desires!! There will be a shuttle service from downtown Salida to and from the event. Please utilize the shuttle if possible due to limited parking and alcohol consumption!! The shuttle will begin picking up guests at Riverside Park promtly at 4:30pm (on E. Sackett Ave next to the playground). Shuttle service will run from 4:30 - 6:00pm and again from 9:00-10:30pm. Please walk to the park if you can or park on the streets around the park.

Meet at the Riverside Park in downtown Salida on E. Sackett Ave by the playground for a signature raft van shuttle up to Independent Whitewater!! Be sure to be ON-TIME as vans will leave promptly at 1:00pm!!! I can't stress enough, late arrivals run a high risk of being left behind. We won't be counting heads. Once at I-Dub, you'll enjoy a few day drinks and setzers in the mountain air until the main attraction... A river float down the Arkansas River!! Of course we'll be getting married in that time too ; ) !! The float back to Salida is pretty mild, mostly Class II and we'll try to keep everyone mostly dry but be prepared for a few splashes here and there. The river has gotten pretty low too so there will be some butt bouncing and a few wade and push shoals (bring your water shoes!!). No need to bring beverages, we have plenty of cold wine bags for all!! PFDs will be provided but if you prefer your own, feel free to bring. Water bottles encouraged.

Our magical river float trip will arrive in downtown Salida and steps away from our reception and booty shaking contest at Seasons Riverside Cafe!! Whomever out-dances us (aka Frankie) will receive first pick of the wedding gifts. Challenge accepted!! Heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks aplenty!!
