As of May 13th those who are vaccinated are no longer required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors according to the CDC. However, our county hasn’t updated to this yet. We are suggesting guests who aren’t vaccinated wear a mask. The choice is yours☺️

April 21, 2021: Updates

Greetings, friends and family! We are 45 days away from our wedding day and wanted to give some updates to keep you all in the loop. ✉️ 𝐑𝐒𝐕𝐏𝐬: By now, everyone should have received invitations and an RSVP card with a stamp on it. In order to solidify a guest count for catering, we need the RSVPs back. Our ask is that RSVPs are returned no later than May 1st. Even if you do not plan to attend, please send it back so we can keep track. Thank you for your help with this! ✅ 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐃 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬: The state of California requires any guests attending indoor weddings and receptions to be fully vaccinated 𝐎𝐑 have proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. Due to the personal nature of all this, we will not be requesting proof of vaccination cards or negative COVID test results. By attending our wedding and reception, you are confirming that you have taken one of these steps. If you have any questions at all, please call or text us.😊

Hi, everyone! Just a heads up that the "RSVP by April 5th" date is not accurate on the card. We had to wait to send our invites longer than we had planned due to CA state restrictions. No worries if it isn't back to us yet. Please send it as soon as you can. As many of your prepare to complete and send off your RSVPs, we wanted to respectfully request that you please reply using the allocated number of guests indicated on the invitation. We currently cannot accept plus ones or children not indicated on the invitation. We have a set amount of guests we have invited and would like to stick to that. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you in June!

Family and friends! FINALLY, SOME GOOD NEWS TODAY! California has finally given capacity updates for wedding receptions. Here is the following rule related to our current Red Tier status in Monterey County: "In the Red Tier, 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 are limited to 50 people, and 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐢𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. With this said, we are strongly urging you all to hang on to your proof of vaccination card 𝑶𝑹 plan to take a COVID test shortly before the wedding and obtain proof of a negative test. We will provide more updates this week as they roll out regarding specific event guidelines and timelines for the COVID test. Please know things are quickly opening up now that CA cases are low and we may end up seeing even loser restrictions by June.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 Currently, the state of California allows weddings with many guests as long as it is socially distanced and guests wear masks. However, the state currently only allows receptions with up to 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬. As it stands right now, we are waiting to see if April brings any news about increased guest count for receptions. We are letting guests know everyone is welcome to our wedding, but we may need to decrease numbers for the actual reception. More info to follow. 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 Currently, we are having to reduce our guest list due to restrictions. We will be sending out our invitations at the beginning of April. Please be sure to RSVP using the allocated number of guests indicated on the invitation. We currently cannot accept plus ones and children not indicated on the invitation due to state restrictions.
