Daniel first noticed Sarah when they were in 6th grade. They shared a class together where Daniel secretly crushed on Sarah, unbeknownst to her. Sarah, ever the strong and oh-so-slightly intense woman, scared the crap out of Daniel so he remained quiet about his feelings. As the years went by, their paths crossed again at Monterey High. Neither of them is quite sure how this whole thing happened, but somehow Sarah and Daniel ended up dating. Well, for like two weeks...then it just ended. Poof. They have one single photograph of this memory that they treasure. They were a pretty freaking adorable couple, but neither were ready for "THE relationship of a lifetime" until... 2014. Sarah and Daniel reconnected on Facebook. They hung out with friends, laughed, and enjoyed the moments they shared. But what's that you ask? Were they "together, together"? Nope. At this time, Daniel decided to be "just friends"...much to Sarah's dismay because she realllllly liked Daniel at this point, but life had different plans for both of them. Many lessons and hardships were faced before..... 2018. Sarah was invited to hang with friends at The Gorge in Big Sur. Sarah almost stayed home, but begrudgingly crawled out of bed and met up friends...."Wait? Is that Daniel in the passenger seat?! Oh, here we go again." This time, Daniel knew what he wanted. At The Gorge, he plopped down in the water and started talking like no time had passed. For those who know Daniel, you are aware he is very shy and quiet. Sarah was surprised. After many movies, dinners, and a stint where Daniel had to corgi-sit while Sarah was in Maui, he asked Sarah to be his girlfriend. 11 months later, he attached a ring to one of the corgis and asked her to marry him. They are thankful their roads led back to each other at the right time so they can finally share THE relationship of a lifetime with whom it was always meant to be!
