Things To Do

CVS

1880 South Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
, (310) 316-6492

If you are not vaccinated against COVID-19, we recommend completing a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of our wedding in order to ensure you test negative.

Dominique’s Kitchen

522 South Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
, (424) 247-9054

We went here on our first date. Needless to say, we highly recommend!

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt

1882 South Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
, (424) 247-8861

After dinner at Dominique's on our first date, we went here for dessert! We both love the chocolate chip cookie dough!

Brewport Tap House

204 Main Street, El Segundo, CA 90245
, (310) 648-8972

A fun experience for our 21+ aged guests - try all kinds of beer and wine and only pay by the ounce!

Hermosa Cyclery

20 13th Street, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254
, (310) 374-7816

Rent a bike for you and yours to cycle up and down the famous Strand! The entire Strand (aka "Marvin Braude Bike Trail") is about 22 miles long, from Torrance to Santa Monica, so biking is a fun way to enjoy some beachfront exercise and see a lot of Los Angeles.

Redondo Beach Pier

Redondo Beach, CA 90277

The Redondo Beach Pier is a fun place to visit with restaurants, bars and shops for all tastes! Walk around to enjoy a waterfront view and catch some sightings of sea lions and pelicans!

Hermosa Beach

Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

Enjoy a day at one of our favorite California beaches! Aside from swimming and sunbathing, there's plenty of fun restaurants and bars for every taste - something for everyone can be found here!

Manhattan Beach Pier

2 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266

Stroll around Manhattan Beach to see all kinds of shops and eateries, and chance upon seeing an LA athlete (e.g., King, Laker, Clipper, Dodger, Ram, etc.). At the end of the pier also lives the Roundhouse Aquarium, in which you can touch and see small aquatic life native to the Pacific Ocean.

The Point

California 1, El Segundo, CA 90245
, (310) 414-5280

Find a variety of eateries and shops at The Point in El Segundo! The outdoor mall has plenty for every taste, and a fun outdoor area for relaxation and play.

Riviera Village Way

Riviera Village Way, Redondo Beach, CA 90277

Riviera Village is a block away from the Redondo Beach Promenade, and has plenty of dining and shopping options. Feel free to stroll before or after towards the beach!

The Comedy & Magic Club

1018 Hermosa Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254
, (310) 372-1193

If you’re interested in a fun evening, book an evening in advance at the Hermosa Beach Comedy and Magic Club! (Psst... Jay Leno often performs on Sunday nights! Brittney enjoyed going to one of his performances, in which both of his opening acts and Jay himself all joked about how beautiful she was sitting in the front row.)

Manhattan Beach Creamery

1120 Manhattan Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
, (310) 372-1155

Grab a Beach Bun (a delicious doughnut and ice cream combo) or homemade ice cream or any dessert of your choosing at the Manhattan Beach Creamery! This staple has been around for forever for good reason - it’s delicious. You may even see a star there - Mike once followed Vince Vaughn into Manhattan Beach Creamery when he first moved to LA.

The Kettle

1138 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
, (310) 545-8511

For a hearty breakfast (or any meal, really), stop by The Kettle! Brittney and her family enjoy going there on many weekends for a delightful brunch, where they have the best (and freshest) muffins. One of Brittney’s fondest memories is going there for brunch and running into Heisman Winner Matt Leinart and getting a “fight on” symbol from him because of her USC attire.

Whale Watch

140 International Boardwalk, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
, (310) 372-2111

Din Tai Fung

21540 Hawthorne Boulevard, Torrance, CA 90503
, (310) 214-1175

Brittney’s recommendation for delicious, Michelin-star Chinese soup dumplings!

ROC Playa Vista

12775 Millennium Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90094
, (424) 835-4777

Mike’s recommendation for Chinese food! Tell us if you prefer Mike’s or Brittney’s recommendation!

Lunasia Dim Sum House

11510 South Street, Cerritos, CA 90703
, (562) 265-9588

Amazing dim sum!
