FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tori Miller and Nate Card
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately due to limited capacity, no additional guests are invited apart from those addressed on invitations.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your children, this will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for your understanding! If you are bringing your children with you to DC for the trip, we are happy to connect you with a nanny for the wedding events.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

We encourage our guests to use rideshare, public transportation, or walk to the venue. Our hotel blocks are a 10-15 minute walk to our venue or a short car ride. Due to its proximity to the White House and with April 11th being the Cherry Blossom Parade day, street parking is going to be limited. The closest garage, which you can prebook with SpotHero, is the Ronald Reagan Building, but it will be a walk of about 6 blocks. If you do park there, be sure to exit the building on the 14th Street side, and turn left to walk south to Constitution Avenue, where you will turn right to walk west down Constitution to 17th Street.

Question

Which entrance should I use at the venue?

Answer

Please enter through the C Street entrance at the corner of C Street and 17th Street NW. The address is 1706 C Street NW, Washington, DC 20006.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and dancing will be outside. Dinner and cocktail hour will be inside. Please dress for the weather! In early April, DC typically has average highs in the 60s and average lows in the 40s. A quick heads up: we’ll be on marble floors all night, so please make sure your shoes are clean before arriving—thank you for helping us keep the venue beautiful!

Question

How do I get to the welcome party?

Answer

If you’re staying at one of our hotel blocks, we recommend taking the Metro to The Roost! From the Willard (Metro Center), Hampton Inn (Farragut West), or Courtyard (Foggy Bottom), you can take the Blue, Orange, or Silver Line directly to Potomac Ave—just across the street from the welcome party venue. There is street parking available, but you may need to park a few blocks away. Rideshare is also a great option.
