Our journey began in September 2020 with a first date at Calico, a cozy bar tucked away in DC’s Blagden Alley. Amid humidity and cocktail juice pouches, we instantly connected over our mutual love of Netflix rom-coms, dogs, lazy Sundays watching football, and a deep loyalty to those we love. One date quickly turned into many, and as the world changed around us, we grew closer–navigating a global pandemic, job changes, and life’s challenges together. Through it all, we've always made time for our favorite things: exploring new places, sharing great meals, and spending time with friends and family. From annual Caribbean escapes to trying new DC bars and restaurants (throw @toritastesdc a follow) to Nate joining Tori’s cherished family beach week, adventure (and some laziness), love, and laughter have been ever-present in our relationship. On our four-year anniversary, Nate planned a memorable evening: a special dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Albi. Afterward, during a stroll along the Anacostia River, he surprised Tori with a proposal–making the night one we'll remember forever. We are so excited to begin this new chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
