Michael Ford

Best Man

Michael Ford is the family's middle brother. He fled Upstate New York for warmer climate when, during college, he discovered there were parts of the country where folks don't have to wipe snow off of their cars five months out of the year. When they were boys, Michael taught Christopher how to play well with others, how to forgive people for their mistakes, and how to endure 13-hour car trips to Myrtle Beach. Now he works as a professional accountant and casual dog-sitter/Malcolm Gladwell enthusiast in Nashville, Tennessee.

Patrick Ford

Groomsman

Patrick is Christopher's youngest brother and one of his oldest friends. Entrepreneurship is his passion, and Patrick has already cut his teeth in the fields of drop-shipping, Instagram marketing, brand recognition, AI-assisted graphic design, real estate, and culinary vehicular transport. Patrick has been there beside Christopher at the premiere of most Marvel films, and in line for Walt Disney World attractions, and now he will stand beside him at the altar.

Jimi Ford

Groomsman

Jimi has known Christopher longer than any other Groomsmen and spent most of his childhood growing up right next door. Being four years his senior, Jimi has taught Christopher a lot over the years: from how to build with Lego, to how to star in a high school musical, to how to win at tabletop games. Jimi is, in a word: jovial. Christopher and Tori are thrilled to have him with us at such a joyous occasion.

Robb LoCurto

Groomsman

Robb and Christopher met in the way back of band rehearsal space, where only percussionists dwell. They have performed together in multiple bands - both academic and extracurricular - and share a love of bringing antics and laughter to a room. Robb currently is a Team Leader for Wegmans and can often be found in the Hallmark section, searching for absurdly-themed cards.

Jacob Morris

Groomsman

Jake has known Christopher since elementary school and, along with our mutual friend Josh Rojas, shared an early passion for reading. Pragmatic by nature, Jake would spend his time on the bus ride home completing homework beside Christopher, ensuring they both completed all subjects before they reached their stop. Jake works as a professional electrician and a casual League of Legends coach for Christopher.

Alexander Ruhling

Groomsman

Alexander Ruhling was the only other boy in Christopher's 7th grade chorus class who looked happy to be there. They were fast friends, sharing a reverence for Star Wars, Catholicism, and vocal musicianship. Years later, Christopher was honored to serve as Best Man for Alexander's wedding. Alexander lives in Virginia now, with his wife and three children, but he still finds time to keep up with Christopher and Tori and never ceases to be a confidant, resource, and great friend.

Gavin Streb

Groomsman

Gavin and Christopher have been friends since they learned to lean on each other in high school to make it through their shared AP course schedule. Gavin is many things: a goalie for multiple hockey leagues, the proud owner of a snake, a manager for an information technology support company, and an enthusiastic gamer. Gavin has taught Christopher a lot about forging your own path in the world, and his service as a groomsmen is cherished.

Connor Thompson

Groomsman

Connor is Christopher's oldest friend. Stalwart in character, Connor has long been the lynch pin that has kept old high school friends from drifting apart. In the classroom, on the playground, on the soccer field, in a poorly-constructed Boy Scout tent, on the stage - Connor has been beside Christopher for decades now, and even honored Christopher by selecting him to be celebrant at Connor's wedding. When he is not coaxing his first son to sleep, Connor gives local weather reports down in Binghamton. Christopher and Tori are thrilled to have him on such an important day.

Dominique Ruffino

Matron of Honor

As the oldest Recuparo sister, Dominique has been a role model for Tori for her whole life. Tori has joyfully followed in her footsteps since she was a child— joining colorguard, becoming captain, doing marching band, studying abroad, and attending St. John Fisher College, to name a few examples. Tori wouldn’t have had the courage to join Fisher’s a capella group (and meet her future fiancé) without the encouragement and support of Dominique. Tori hopes she will continue to follow in her footsteps by having a happy and loving marriage.

Bella Recuparo

Maid of Honor

Bella is the fellow middle child of the Recuparo family alongside Tori. When she’s not slingin’ pizzas at a Syracuse classic, Twin Trees, she’s a doting mother to her four (yes, four) adorable cats. Apart from their mutual love of cats, Tori and Bella have bonded over their fluency in sarcasm and affinity for humor over the years. Bella has the ability to get a whole room in stitches with her contagious laugh and witty comments. Tori is grateful that Bella will be standing alongside her at the altar for a bit of comedic relief from all the happy tears.

Sophia Recuparo

Bridesmaid

Although Sophia is the baby of the Recuparo family, she’s certainly not a baby anymore. Fia is a soon-to-be junior at SUNY Oswego with a passion for dance and her puppy, Poppy. She’s the type of person who excels at everything she tries, whether it be soccer, dance, gymnastics, or diving. Though we used to laugh that her middle name is Grace when she was a clumsy toddler, she has certainly grown into her name as she enters adulthood.

Sanjeev Sekharan

Bridesman

Sanjeev transferred to St. John Fisher during his junior year of college and immediately sought out a musical group to join. Thankfully for Tori and Christopher, they were in the one and only a capella group on campus, which led Jeev straight to them. Though they were first pulled in by his incredible singing voice, it didn’t take them long to realize what a kind, gentle, generous, and funny individual Sanjeev is. Their wedding day would not be complete without his presence.

Hannah Batten

Bridesmaid

Hannah was a fellow member of St. John Fisher’s a capella group, Drastic Measures, alongside Tori and Christopher. Hannah and Tori have since co-managed a national literary magazine, gained an irreplaceable 11-person friend group whilst studying abroad, and travelled the world together. Though Hannah now lives in Boston, Tori and Christopher visit as often as possible and eternally cherish the kind, silly, joyous nature of their friend.

Nicole Newman

Bridesmaid

Nicole is one of Tori’s oldest friends (in fact, older by a single day). They grew up as next-door neighbors and went on to do colorguard together all throughout middle and high school. Even in college, the two remained neighbors— Nicole attending Nazareth College, and Tori at St. John Fisher. Nowadays, Nicole works as an Oncology Certified Registered Nurse at HOA and is an enthusiastic dog-mom.

Aniela Velocci

Bridesmaid

Both Aniela and Tori entered St. John Fisher College in Fall of 2016, and auditioned for the school’s a capella group on the same day. The two went on to be elected into the group’s E-Board following their Freshman year, with Aniela as President and Tori as Secretary. Aniela’s quirky personality and hilarious quips have made her an irreplaceable friend in both Tori and Christopher’s lives.

Alex Reppi

Bridesmaid

Alex joined the St. John Fisher a capella group, Drastic Measures, her freshman year. It was Tori’s second year in the group, and Christopher was a veteran member at this point. They both immediately took a liking to Alex and became fast friends. The following year, Alex and Tori became roommates, and would remain as such until Tori graduated. She recently moved to Nashville, TN to take on a travel nursing job and is thriving in style in the Music City.
