Our absolute favorite spot in Syracuse. Everything here is scrumptious, but we absolutely adore their pork store arancini, The Apizza, or the Garlic and Herb Pizza. They have a bar that serves lunch or dinner as well.
Although small by "barcade" standards, we have had many fun, themed, drinks here. We have even won the Nerd Trivia nights a few times. We highly recommend the Toad Sliders and the Secret Sauce.
Pastabilities is the favorite of Christopher's family. As featured on Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives, the Chicken Riggies and Spicy Hot Tomato Oil are spectacular.
A Mano is our "fancy date" destination, and it serves the only pizza in Syracuse that we feel can compete with Apizza Regionale's. The homemade pasta is divine, if you're not in the mood for just a margarita pizza.
One cannot enter an establishment near Armory Square and not end up in a place recommended by us. Kitty Hoynes is an Irish bar featured in Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and serves a mean burger. Seating inside is spacious, and it may be an opportune place to break between the wedding ceremony and reception.
Christopher fell in love with this place early on in his summers visiting Tori. A more casual eatery, Funk 'n' Waffles serves up a diverse and eclectic menu that serves up phenomenal comfort food. We prefer to visit earlier, since it is a favorite of the late-night bar-hopping crowd.
Located just across from Boom Babies (Tori's Dress Boutique,) Recess is an independent café that caters to the university crowd. Tori recommends the chai lattes while Christopher prefers their mocha breve and a classic breakfast sandwich.
Just a few blocks from some of our favorite date destinations, we have enjoyed many walks around this downtown landmark.
One of Tori’s favorite spots in Syracuse (and in general). Four floors, jam-packed with all sorts of eclectic knickknacks and amazing vintage finds.
