Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Krista Ashshaheed

Matron of Honor

Well, well, well, my twin is getting hitched! I’ve known Kristy for her entire life, minus the 10 minutes that I stayed in the womb after her escape! She was my first friend and is still my best friend! Kristy, I’m so happy that you attended that little Aggie Homecoming! You found your soulmate, which is now your forever date! May God bless your union!!

Jadonna Williams

Maid of Honor

I’m Kristy’s older and wiser sister, therefore I’ve pretty much known her all of her life...lol. Kristy, I’m so honored to witness and celebrate this special day with the both of you. You’ve prayed about this very moment and it’s finally here. May God have unusual favor over your union. I pray you have unending love and a lifetime of happiness. Love you!!!

Natasha Harris

Bridesmaid

My name is Natasha Brown. I have known Kristy ever since she was born. We are first cousins and I am 4 years older than her. I have watched Kristy grow for the past 31 years and I have loved every minute of it. I wish them nothing but love and happiness!

Johneine Grate

Bridesmaid

have known Kristy since I could remember being that she is my cousin! We went to the same pre-school (Kiddieland), middle school and high school. During our middle school years, we became best friends. As high school students, we enjoyed playing in the band and hanging out every chance we got! We have been friends for a very long time. We have shared some very special moments. One of the best moments is when Dra asked to marry her. I'd never met him, but I knew when she talked about him, he was the one. I can say Dra is one cool guy and he loves her dearly. I'm so excited to share this special day with you two!

Jessica Holmes

Bridesmaid

I met Kristy back in middle school. We became really close friends throughout our middle and high school days because we were always involved in extracurricular activities such as academic teams, clubs, volunteer work, community service, cheer-leading, high school, and middle school band. She instantly became my best friend and I love this girl like a sister. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and now it is my time to make her day as special as she made my wedding day. I met Dra during Krista’s wedding in 2016 and we automatically bonded. I cannot wait to experience this journey with Kristy as she marries her best friend. I wish Kristy and Dra nothing but love, success, joy, happiness, and a lifetime commitment in their marriage!

Bridesmaid

Kristy and I met on the great campus of Tuskegee UniversityOur freshman year, I knew OF her as she and Krista stood out not only because they were twins but also because they dressed exactly alike! However, it was during our sophomore year, in 2007, that I connected with her both as a friend and sister. It was during spring 2007 that Kristy and I were both pursuing and granted membership into the best sorority in the world…Delta Sigma Theta of course! Since our days on line and for the many years since, my relationship with Kristy has grown into one that I cherish very deeply. I felt blessed to have her stand by my side on my wedding day, am honored to do the same for her as she embarks on this new journey, and look forward to the many memories we will continue to make with one another.

Bridesmaid

Kristy is about to be a whole wife...LOOK AT GOD! Kristy and I met freshman year at Tuskegee University! We lived directly across the hall from each other in our dorm, Adams Hall. From that point forward, she became one of my first and best friends. Our bond grew even more during our sophomore year as we both became members of the best sorority ever, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I am honored to stand by Kristy as the marries the love of her life. I wish her and Dra much love and happiness as they start their life together! Mark 10:8 And the two shall become one flesh: so that they are no more two, but one flesh.

Lauren Kornegay Johnson

Bridesmaid

’m Lauren, the third twin! Kristy and I met freshman year at Tuskegee University! We would speak in passing, but it wasn’t until our sophomore year when we both became members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. that our bond grew. We were inseparable which is why I refer to myself as the third twin! Kristy, I love you and I am honored to be apart of your big day! Dra, Thank you so much for loving and caring for my friend! You make her extremely happy! Remember to always communicate and continue to keep God in the center of your relationship! Wishing you both love, peace and happiness for years to come!

Deondra and I met at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University during our freshman orientation. We instantly clicked because we were both from the west coast and showed similar taste in music. We brought the west to the south by getting “HYPHY” any chance we could, but also showed that the west was present and well represented at A&T. Over the past thirteen years, I have been able to witness my friend mature into the man he is today and am proud that he found Kristy and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. I am honored and grateful that Deondra has chosen me to be apart of his wedding day, as he marries the love of his life. May GOD bless their union. I wish Deondra and Kristy all the love and happiness as they make the ultimate commitment.

HAHAHAHA!!! MY BROTHER DEONDRA IS ABOUT TO JUMP THE BROOM! GOD PERFORMING MIRACLES, YET AGAIN! I have known Deondra for about 10 years now. We both struggled through the tumultuous Mechanical Engineering curriculum at North Carolina A&T State University. Side note: A&T is the best HBCU hands down (Pause for the haters!!!). We pushed one another to never settle for mediocrity in ALL we have done, doing and will do. From completing our 1st , 2nd, or 3rd trips through classes, to our journey across the burning sands to becoming GOOD brothers of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity Inc. I am truly honored to stand by my brother as he marries his queen. I wish Dra and Kristy much love, happiness and blessings, as you two embark on this special journey through life together.

Dra and i met when we were about 12 years-old, we ran running track at the time. Just young boys running for life and our goals. We never had it easy but we always worked hard. As we got older Dra and I got real close, he became my brother. Most of our high school years we played football for Benson; I said most because I was bad and didn’t always play. After high school even though Dra left to North Carolina we kept in contact over the years. When I was in the middle of no where in Weed, CA playing football Dra was my phone buddy.lol He got me through a lot. We done a lot and talked about a lot but I can’t tell y’all, y’all might look at him different.lol jk All in all Dra been nothing but a stand up man and I’m glad to call him my brother. Congrats to the bride and groom!!!

I officially met Dra in 2006 lol. When he asked me to share a few words all I could think of was the CRAZY times. A lot of mess we got into was never Dra's fault but he was ALWAYS there to make sure we cleaned up. He is loyal as hell no matter the issue he'd endure it with us that sticks out about him. Another is his grit & grind! He went through it in NC but kept his head and saw it through. That motivated me during my own troubles, he'd empathize but never let me feel sorry for myself. Times I've cried out about everything bothering me I'd get a "just knock that baby s*** out" & things would be all good! It's an honor to bear witness to the beginning of something special and celebrate the union of Dra & Kristy. I know she'll keep my boy in line and I wish you both the best! Love y'all!

I met Deondra 13 years ago on a BLAZING hot day at North Carolina A&T State University and we’ve been family ever since. Like all siblings, we’ve had our ups and downs but always came out on top. Looking back on the freshman he used to be and comparing him to the MAN he is today, I can only thank GOD for continuously pushing him to be better and for allowing me to be a part of such a joyous occasion. Kristy, I value you more than you will ever know and I’m glad that he has someone as strong as you in his corner to spend his forever with. I love you both and wish nothing but the best for you and your future. Always remember that “A happy marriage is a LONG conversation that always seems too short”.
