Hiking
We recommend hiking! Lots of trails to choose from within 30-40 min drive from Whitefield. Best easy day hikes: Mt. Willard, Ripley Falls and Arethusa Falls in Crawford Notch, Basin in Franconia Notch
Downtown Littleton
Lots of local shopping, restaurants & breweries, and of course Chutters!
Bethlehem, NH
Bethlehem doesn't have as much to offer as Littleton, but we would be remiss to not recommend two great restaurant options here: Rek Lis Brewing Company & Rosa Flamingos
Golfing
If you want to bring the clubs along, there are a few golf courses in the area to choose from including one on the Mountain View Grand grounds (9 holes.) The Mt. Washington Hotel has two courses (9 and 18 holes.) Also, two courses in Bethlehem (Maplewood and Bethlehem Country Club) and Waumbek Golf Course north of Whitefield.

Polly's has been around for over 75 years! We recommend the blueberry pancakes served with local maple syrup!
Mount Washington
Visit the highest peak in the Northeastern United States. You can get up to the summit of Mount Washington a number of way: cog railroad, drive, or hike.
Ziplining at Bretton Woods
Bretton Woods has amazing skiing in the winter, but also offers fun activities in the summer. They have ziplining and a tram up the mountain. You'll see amazing views without having to hike!

Take a scenic tram ride up Cannon Mountain.
Tour of New England Covered Bridges
New Hampshire has lots of old covered bridges; one is right downtown in Littleton.
