Why are guests being given a 90 day notice that Charleston, SC is no longer the wedding location?

Answer

We're excited to share that we've decided to move our wedding to Maui for a more exotic celebration! We know this is a significant change, and we truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility. We're grateful for your support and hope you'll be able to join us for this special day in our new location.

How many guest can attend the ceremony?

Answer

An intimate ceremony will be held on a public beach with standing room for 10–20 guests. Following the brief ceremony, we'll celebrate together, with festivities continuing for 2 days after the Saturday ceremony.

What is the destination airport?

Answer

KAHULUI AIRPORT (OGG) Kahului Airport is the primary airport on the island of Maui and receives both overseas and interisland flights. On Maui you’ll find beautiful beaches, exciting water sports, Haleakala Crater, the old whaling town of Lahaina, blue skies, great dining and the Aloha spirit. We look forward to welcoming you to the Valley Island.

Are guest required to book at a hotel listed on this wedding site?

Answer

No, guests are welcome to book lodging of their choice, whether through a hotel or condo rental. We'll be staying on the south side of the island, and we wanted to note that lodging on the west side would be approximately a 1.5-hour drive from our wedding venue in South Maui.

We'll be staying at Sugar Beach, located at 145 North Kihei Road in Kihei, Maui, HI 96753, from Wednesday, July 15 through Monday, July 20, 2026.

Absolutely! Guests are welcome to bring their own seating to the ceremony.

May guests that cannot attend the ceremony still come to the beach?

Answer

Since our ceremony takes place on a public beach, guests who cannot attend the ceremony are welcome to join us at the beach. If we anticipate a larger crowd, overflow guests are invited to enjoy the festivities from a comfortable distance.
