Flight
We recommend flying into Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO), which offers direct flights from several major U.S. cities. For guests flying from San Diego, consider departing from Tijuana for better pricing and more flight options. From SJO, it’s about a 2.5-3-hour drive to Manuel Antonio, but the journey is part of the adventure! Along the way, you can stop at Jacó Lookout, where you’ll catch a glimpse of vibrant macaws soaring over the beach. It’s a perfect place to stretch your legs, enjoy some refreshing coconut water, and take in the stunning views before continuing on to the beauty of Manuel Antonio.

If you're interested in taking a domestic flight within Costa Rica, we recommend Sansa Airlines or Costa Rica Green Airways, both conveniently based at the domestic terminal of Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). https://www.flysansa.com/en https://costaricagreenair.com/en/ Be sure to select Quepos as your final destination, which is just a short drive from Villa Punto de Vista. These domestic flights are small planes that fit 10-12 passengers. The flight time is about 30 minutes. Plan for roughly 3 hours between landing in SJO and departure for the domestic flight. You'll need time to deboard, go through customs, get your luggage, board the next flight, etc. Flights are about $110/person one way. It's possible to charter an entire plane. The cost to charter an entire plane is also about $110/person, depending on how many people are on the flight. If you are interested in trying to find other people to charter a plane with, please check on the WhatsApp group to try and coordinate transportation plans with other guests and also reach out to us for assistance and info about chartering the flights.

Driving from San Jose to Manuel Antonio takes about 3 hours. This sounds long, but it could end up being comparable to flying because on the domestic flight you'll need to check in, board, deboard and take a taxi from the airport to the villa. For driving from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, you have two options: 1: SHUTTLE SERVICES We've partnered with Guanacaste InfoCenter as our official transportation provider. We’ve negotiated excellent rates for both shared and private shuttle services. If you have any questions or want to book a shuttle for yourself or with other guests, please contact our destination management company lead, Abe Solis, at guanacasteinfocenter@gmail.com (and do not forget to mention that you're guests of Cassandra & Anthony's wedding in Abril 2025!) A private car will cost about $220 one way for an entire car that fits up to 4 people. We can find other options that fit more people. Reach out to Abe for info. 2. Book a seat in a shared car / bus A seat in a shared car or bus will cost about $60/passenger one way. 2: RENT A CAR Renting a car is a great option if you want to maximize flexibility and freedom during your trip. Especially if you plan on arriving early staying after our wedding, renting a car will give you the option to travel around.
