Welcome Dinner at the Villa 🌮

5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

People will be arriving in Costa Rica at all different hours on our first night. We'll have a casual buffet-style spread at the Villas that people can grab after they check in and freshen up from traveling. Wear whatever you like. Casual is fine!

Beach Bonfire 🔥

7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The first time we really got to know each other was a starry night on a Fijian beach, where we talked for hours in the warm ocean water. We've always loved the beach (Fiji, Melbourne, Hawaii, Los Angeles, San Diego - see a pattern?) and we can't think of a more suitable place to kick off our wedding with all our loved ones. We'll have a bonfire, bartenders and s'mores! Average temperatures are in the 70s at night, so it should be comfortable enough to wear light clothing

Manuel Antonio National Park 🦥 🦎 🐒

7:30 am - 12:00 pm

Pickup at Villa La Isla! Manuel Antonio is Costa Rica's most popular national park for wildlife viewing. We'll have guides to take us on easy hikes through the park to spot wildlife and learn about Costa Rica's amazing nature. We'll also stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in the country! It will be hot and tropical! Bring light and comfortable clothes and shoes or flip flops to walk in.

Lunch at the Villa

12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

There will be a self-serve lunch at the villa while everyone gets ready and socializes before the ceremony. All guests are welcome to join, including those staying off-site

Beach Ceremony 🤵‍♂️👰❤️

4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Officially tying the knot! (Meet at the Villas at 3:00 PM for shuttles to beach) As far as dress code, we’d love for all our guests to wear white or light colors such as beige, light browns, cream, etc. Think breezy fabrics and chic tropical elegance to stay cool and comfortable. ATTIRE EXAMPLES: https://www.pinterest.com/anthonyto93/wedding-attire-thursday-ceremony-day/ Feel free to wear flip-flops or go barefoot during the ceremony – we’ll likely be barefoot too, enjoying the sand beneath our feet!

Celebration Dinner Party 🍾

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

This will be our dinner party at the villa - champagne, speeches and food galore! We'll use this time to celebrate the ceremony and also for everyone to socialize and get to know each other. Expect lots of food, drinks, music and mingling. This isn't meant to be too structured or up tight, we want everyone to let loose and have fun. We welcome anyone to give speeches, tell stories, etc. Please let us know if you're interested in speaking! If you're going to the ceremony barefoot, you are welcome to bring along something comfortable to slip on your feet.

Yoga Class

After a slow morning, join us for a fun pool party at the villas! We’ll have the perfect mix of detox and retox, with music by our very own DJ Yes Chef.

Games, Movies and Pajamas!

For those who are still alive and kicking on our last night together, we are going to keep it comfy AF. Bust out your best PJs and fuzzy slippers cause we're gunna play games, watch movies and crush some hot chocolate and wine.
