A gorgeous park right by the water, and just a stone's throw from shops, restaurants, and bars! Be sure to swing by Hearth Wood for pizza and wine, or check out Joe's dad's favorite, The Old Bull Tavern!
We were surprisingly early to our wedding tour (which never happens!) and discovered this place before we even chose Agape as our wedding venue. It has such rich history, a hidden beach, and some amazing walking trails.
The most charming local antique shop, run by the loveliest family! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town!
Fripp Island is teeming with wildlife, from alligators and dolphins to over 100 bird species. But honestly, I'd just grab a chair and kick back on the beach to take it all in!
A lighthouse—what more do you need to say? It's one of the few lighthouses in the country that's still operational and open to the public! Plus, many of the scenes in Forrest Gump were filmed around this very island.
Who doesn’t love a good brewery? Joe and I love this place, with both indoor and outdoor seating, live local music, and don’t worry—there’s more than just beer for the non-beer drinkers. And if you get hungry, Fishcamp on 11th Street is right next door, offering fresh seafood, tasty cocktails, and waterfront dining!
Beaufort's Five Star Dive Bar. Do I need to say more?
