We first crossed paths at a baby shower a year prior to 2021... and I have to admit, I wasn’t impressed. Joe seemed a little cocky, and I couldn’t get him to stop talking about flag football. Fast forward about a year and a half, and fate (or a dating app) brought us back together. Neither of us recognized the other, until I was just 10 minutes away from our date! I messaged him, “Wait… you’re the guy from the baby shower?” His reply: “OMG, you’re the girl from the baby shower!” I asked, “Should I still come?” and he said, “Absolutely! See you soon!” That date changed everything. We started out as best friends, hanging out for a year while both secretly knowing there was no one else for us, but both too scared to say it. It wasn't until November of 2021 we officially started dating. From that second meeting on (not the first!), we’ve been inseparable, laughing, loving, and occasionally arguing about flag football ever since. And now… here we are, ready for forever.
