If your invitation includes one, of course! They will be listed when you go to RSVP. If their name is not listed, please provide their name for our seating chart. Thank you for being so understanding! We wish we could invite everyone!
The closest airport is Hilton Head Island Airport. It's an hour and 32 minutes away. However, Charleston International Airport may be the cheapest, and it is only two hours and 2 minutes away from the venue.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the ceremony time to make sure you're seated, comfortable, and ready to celebrate with us!
Our dress code is formal black tie/ garden party attire. However, wear what you are most comfortable in. We can't wait to dress up with you!
Yes! Beer, wine, and three specialty cocktails, and non alcoholic beverages on us! Drink responsibly!
We encourage you to treat this weekend as a little getaway! Be sure to check out the “Travel” page on our website, and keep in mind there are plenty of Airbnbs if you prefer staying in the city, near the beach, or on the island. If you’re hoping to stay in downtown Beaufort, the bride and groom’s personal favorite is the Beaufort Inn!
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We’re having an unplugged ceremony, and the greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do.” We promise, our photography team will capture plenty of beautiful photos and videos that we’ll be excited to share with you!
Yes, in order to make sure each guest receives their handmade gift and to help accommodate our guest count, we will have assigned seating at the reception. We kindly ask that you remain in your assigned seat from the blessing through the speeches. There will be time to mingle during cocktail hour and again afterward. For the ceremony, please feel free to sit wherever you wish, there are no “sides,” as we consider everyone one big family.
We kindly ask that, unless your children are included on your RSVP or you’ve previously discussed it with the bride and groom, you please refrain from bringing them. We absolutely love little ones, this is simply a chance for you to enjoy a special date night and reconnect under the stars!
We kindly ask that you use the outdoor bathrooms provided. Due to venue regulations, guests are not permitted inside the plantation homes unless you are staying there or are family or close friends. Please respect our wishes, thank you so much! These are planation homes, so things break very easily! Don't cause a headache for the bride and groom, please!
The couple are huge coastal, outdoors-loving people, so both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. The reception will take place under a large tent, and the bride has always dreamed of a wedding under the stars! Since it’s October and the weather can be unpredictable, we recommend bringing a light jacket, just in case.
