Question

Are guests required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19?

Answer

Yes. All guests age 12 and over must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the wedding. Please confirm your vaccination status in your RSVP.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held indoors. There will be cocktails served outside between when the ceremony concludes and when the reception begins. If there is inclement weather, the cocktail portion will also be held inside.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue has a parking lot with 79 parking spots, some of which will be used by vendors, the bridal party, and Todd’s and Kelle’s families. Street parking outside the venue is prohibited. If you are staying near the venue, we recommend getting a taxi or using a ride-hailing service such as Lyft to get to and from the wedding.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Usually, the temperature in the Austin area in November ranges from 50 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s Texas, so there’s always the possibility it might be much hotter, much cooler, or much rainier than expected.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, so suits and cocktail dresses are perfect. Dressy jumpsuits, blouses, skirts, button-down shirts, and dress pants are also appropriate. Given the unpredictability of Texas weather, we recommend packing a jacket and an umbrella just in case.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Our reception will have a traditional Chinese 7-course banquet with both meat and seafood. There will be a vegetarian option as well. Please indicate your meal choice (omnivore or vegetarian) in your RSVP. If your children are attending with you, please keep in mind that their meal preferences may not align with the food that will be served at the reception. You are welcome to bring in food for your children to eat. There will also be cake for everyone to enjoy.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

If you would like to give a gift, please see our registry page and ship the gift to the address provided on the registry. Please only bring paper gifts to the wedding itself - we will have a box to drop cards into. We will not have space for boxed gifts at the wedding. Thank you!
