Colette's Mom Marilyn is living with Parkinson's. A donation to the research and development of a cure for this disease would mean a lot to us.
Canadian Cancer Society
Colette's Dad Roy is a prostate cancer survivor. Any donations to the Canadian Cancer Society...directed to whatever research or area you see fit...are warmly appreciated.
Adopt a Dog Save a Life
The late, great, and dearly beloved Tia was a rescue dog from this charity. She became Colette's foster dog and later still an adopted and adored permanent family member. Eventually she even convinced Todd that there is no better friend than a loyal loving dog. A donation in loving memory of our beautiful golden retriever girl is sweet indeed.
Shades of Hope Animal Rescue
This place does phenomenal work with injured or orphaned wildlife of all types. Colette has visited them and seen first hand after a baby squirrel was injured and found it's way into our backyard. They have been absolutely inundated during the pandemic as other rescues closed their doors or stopped accepting injured or abandoned animals. Shades of Hope never turns an animal in need away. As such they are always in need of support and a worthy non profit.
Though not listed here... Sandy Pines in Napanee does outstanding work as well...if you'd prefer to support something closer to Kingston.
