Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held outside on the grass (weather permitting). Please be mindful of this when selecting your footwear.

Question

Is the reception being held inside? With Covid I'd like to know exactly what the set up and plan will be?

Answer

The ceremony is outside and even if there is poor weather we plan to move to an impromptu spot across the street which is covered, but still outdoors. For the reception, the cocktails will be outdoors and, depending on restrictions at the time, we may have dancing outside on the covered terrace. However, the reception and meal will most definitely be seated indoors. The venue is following all provincial rules as well as guidelines of the local health unit (KFL&A) and will allow guests at only 50% capacity which is what we have planned for with invites. Again, this is unless we have restriction changes before the 28th. We understand that being able to attend and celebrate with us is based on individual comfort levels during these uncertain times. We can assure you we are "pro" double vaccination and we and our family members 12 and over (includes both our children) have gotten both jabs. If you wish to come but prefer to wear a mask even when not required, you are most welcome!
