Meet the family and friends that we are 
grateful to have walking down the aisle with us!

Julie and Carmela have been friends since they met in freshman year of high school in the marching band. Starting with Martha the Marimba, their friendship has blossomed over more than 10 years.

Toby and Jarrod met on the bus on the first day of fourth grade, and they have been best friends ever since.

Julie and Kara met in sophomore year of college when they were randomly paired as roommates. They quickly bonded and the random pairing turned into a wonderful lasting friendship.

Thadd has always been a constant in Toby's life. Through thick and thin, Thadd has always been there for Toby, and vice versa.

Nichole has been by Julie's side for her entire life. Having an annoying little sister has never seemed to bother Nichole much, because it also means a lifelong friend.

Toby met Brian in junior high, but they became much closer through drumline in high school. They have remained close friends thanks to Brian's consistent pushing for Toby to be the best version of himself.

Julie met Misha through work at L'Auberge, and they connected over their love of reading. They've become close friends and enjoy meeting for drinks, talking about books, and being sassy.

Nic gave Toby his first pair of marching drumsticks and continues to be a beacon of positivity and reminds Toby to be himself at all times.

Michelle has been a friend of the Schmidts since before Julie was born. Having also married Nichole and Ben in 2013, Julie and Toby are honored to have Michelle officiate their wedding!

Joshua originally entered Toby's life in high school and quickly became an antagonist, but they soon bonded and became very close friends.
