We met through marching band in high school and were friends for several years. During my senior year, we were in the same group for the band trip to Disneyland and spent most of the weekend together. We talked for a while until Toby asked me to prom for "A Night Tangled in Enchantment," and we had a great time. A week later, we were officially dating!

We had planned a hike at Camp Raymond here in Flagstaff, something we had done not too long after we started dating. Once we made it to the top of Fortress, we poured our mimosas, and I sat down to enjoy the view. Toby claimed to be setting up his phone to take pictures, but when I turned around, he was down on one knee. He didn't even get to ask the question before I ran to him and said Absolutely! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Flagstaff!
