FLIGHTS
Reno Tahoe Airport is approximately a 30 minute drive to Truckee. Sacramento International Airport is another option that has additional flights. Sacramento is approximately a 2 hour drive to Truckee.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
If your plan is to explore Lake Tahoe we suggest having access to a car. Remember to not leave food, wrappers, empty bottles, anything with a scent in your car because bears might break in!
There are limited Taxis, Uber and Lyft drivers in the area. TART Connect (is a free local service similar to a shared Uber) for service ONLY within Truckee limits (download the app). Availability and wait times vary, so be sure to order well in advance.
