About a 3 hour drive or little less drive to Willits. Sacramento airport is very easy to navigate, lots of flights, rental cars and not much traffic in the area.

If money is tight and you don't care about where you are staying too much-book here. It's safe enough and close to everything. I've stayed here before, but don't expect a lot. LOL There's several budget motels in Willits so look around.

Fun, local tourist train that has a depot in Willits and Ft. Bragg (over on the coast about an hour away) Lots of different options for excursions.
