The Prison Book Program mails books to people in prison to support their educational, vocational and personal development and to help them avoid returning to prison after their release. They also aim to provide a quality volunteer experience that introduces citizens to issues surrounding the American prison system and the role of education in reforming it.

X-Cel Education improves economic opportunity in underserved Greater Boston neighborhoods through accessible, individualized, and free high school equivalency education, post-secondary preparation, and career readiness development.

Located in the heart of downtown Boston, the St. Francis House serves an average of 500 poor and homeless men and women a day, 365 days a year. Their basic, rehabilitative, and housing services overlap and build on one another to provide their guests with continuous and comprehensive care.
