Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. There is little to no shade/coverage for the ceremony, but the ceremony will be between 20-30minutes. During cocktail hour & reception, you will be able to move freely inside & outside. * If it rains, the celebrations will primarily be indoors. (unless you forget to shower)

When will the hotel shuttle be leaving?

Answer

We have booked a shuttle service with Joe's Limo Services. The Guest Shuttle will be leaving from the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel at/around 3:30pm on Friday June, 6th for the wedding venue. The ceremony starts at 4:30pm. The shuttle will also return to the Hotel at the end of night.

How to travel from NYC to NJ

Answer

Many of your are flying into JFK and/or spending some time in NYC before/after the wedding so here's our (Dana's) advice on getting to the hotel/NJ for the wedding. The simplest way to get from NYC to the hotel, where the Guest Shuttle will depart from, is via NJ Transit train. • First, you need to get yourself to NY Penn Station. NYC's subway system is efficient, vast and easy to navigate using Google or Apple Maps on your phone. If uncomfortable with the subways, consider Uber, Lyft or taxi. • From NY Penn Station, you take the NJ Transit DOVER Line all the way to the Dover Station. • From the Dover, NJ train station, you can take an Uber or Lyft to the Hilton Garden Inn Rockaway Hotel, where a complimentary Guest Shuttle will be leaving for the venue at/around 3:30pm. The hotel is 2 miles (3.2km) from the Hilton Garden Inn Rockaway. • The train trip will be between 1hr 30mins - 1hr 45mins. In my opinion, the easiest way to buy train tickets is on the NJ Transit app, but you can buy paper tickets at kiosks and teller windows (if open) in the train station. What to do about Food Allergies?

Answer

Reception dinner entrees will include filet mignon, chicken and salmon. If you're worried about a particular food allergy, please alert your server. Dinner will be catered by Richfield Regency, and since entrees will be made to order, there will be time to make provisions for allergies. For my vegan/vegetarian eaters (*cough cough* bridget *cough cough*) please let your server know who you are when you find your seat, as accommodations have already been made/considered.
