FAQs

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for making arrangements for your children—including infants and toddlers—so you can celebrate our special day with us!

Question

Can I Bring a Plus-One?

Answer

We’re excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! We can only accommodate those listed on your invitation by name. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a Dress Code?

Answer

We're celebrating in style with Cocktail Attire. For the gentlemen, think sharp suits and dapper ties. Ladies, embrace spring elegance with a lovely cocktail dress (long or short!).

Question

Is the Wedding Outside?

Answer

Our ceremony is outdoors on a mix of grass and pavement, followed by the remainder of the reception indoors. There will be outdoor spaces available to enjoy throughout the evening, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap and wearing block heels or flats!

Question

How Do We Get to The Venue?

Answer

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the wedding. The venue has plenty of free parking available, and vehicles can be left overnight until 9:00 AM the following morning. For those using a rideshare or taxi service, please be aware that service in the area can be inconsistent. You can pre-schedule an Uber or pre-book a taxi service in advance to ensure a smooth arrival to the ceremony and departure at the end of the night at 11:00 PM. A few local taxi companies are: *PrivaDrive: (219) 229-8154 *Taxi by the Lake: (219) 879-8999 *Eagle Cab: (574) 287-6666 Please note: The wedding venue is on Central Time. If you are staying in a hotel in New Buffalo, Michigan, you will be on Eastern Time, which is one hour ahead.
