The Historic Balch Hotel was built in 1907 by Charles P. Balch. We have blocked out all 20 rooms for our reception October 3, 2025. All registered hotel guests can enjoy a breakfast basket. The rooms are first come first serve so please reserve your rooms ASAP and stay two nights! Hood River Hotel

The original Mt. Hood Hotel dates back to 1888 the year the town of Hood River was founded. Strategically adjacent to the railroad depot, the hotel formed the social center of Hood River. If wanting to stay close to the Hotel but preferring more privacy the Dufur City Park offers RV and Tent Camping, showers and apparently a pool. It is walking distance to the hotel and a charming gourmet grocery in town.
